Who I Am
Lorna started her career with Alliance & Leicester in 1989 as an administrator, she moved into the branch network as a cashier, moving up through the ranks to customer advising. Realising that advising clients to improve their situation was her passion, she completed the Certificates in Financial Advice and enjoyed a successful career building strong client relationships. The dynamics changed as Santander took over Alliance & Leicester but Lorna embraced the changes and continued to support her clients. Lorna achieved her Diploma in Financial Services (DipPFS) in 2012 and was made redundant by Santander in 2013, giving her the opportunity to review and consider her position. She decided that the way forward was to increase the level and type of advice that she could offer her clients by becoming an Independent Financial Adviser, but with the confidence that the concept of Treating Customers Fairly, was at the heart of the company. Lorna joined Nsure in October 2013 and will be offering her clients professional holistic financial advice across all areas of pension planning, investments, protection and more. In her spare time, Lorna enjoys holidays abroad and spending time with her family. Lorna enjoy both active holidays skiing and learning to sail, but also relaxing in the sun with a good book.
